Summer of Smiles – Making Wildflower Seedballs – 10am Session

Free seedball making workshop for children and families as part of Summer of Smiles.

Delivered in partnership with Egg Seeds, and with funding from Cardiff Council as part of the Summer of Smiles programme, Grange Pavilion proudly presents a free hour-hour-long outdoor workshop for children and families.

Make your own seedballs to help Grange Pavilion grow a special patch of wildflowers!

Come and have a go at making our special wildflower seed balls to help us with our science experiment to make super honey. This session will be to create as many seed balls as possible so that later in the holidays we can use them to develop the area for growing next spring.  Participants will get to take some home too!

We will explore seedballs and their purpose then get hands on and practical making them.

Hands will get muddy, and possibly clothes. Toilets are available to clean up afterwards.

This activity combines many skills and is fun to do – especially if you’re looking for something that you can achieve as a team (adults and children together).

Maximum of 10 children and 5 adults at any one time. Suitable for children age 3 – 12 years old.

Young children (under 7) must be accompanied by an adult during the session. Parents of older children are welcome to join in the fun or to wait on site and enjoy the Pavilion grounds and café.

Spaces are limited to 15 participants (10 children, 5 adults). Booking is essential.  Click here to access the booking page:
