On Saturday the 7th of December, Grangetown residents had their first opportunity to visit the Grange Pavilion construction site.
Our manager Sophey, along with student ambassador Andrea Drobna and construction worker Mark Camilleri, were on site from 10-12, showcasing the plans for the pavilion and serving hot leek and potato soup provided by Moseem Suleman.
The event went well, with more than 30 people stopping by on the day to see the construction progress, landscape plans and discuss what groups and events will be based at the pavilion after it opens in Spring 2020.
It was great to feel everyone’s excitement for the reopening of the pavilion, and hear residents’ hopes forĀ the building and grounds.
We are planning to hold another site visit in February, so watch this space and our social media pages for more information in the new year.
Once again, thank you to everyone who stopped by, it was a fantastic day.
With Love,
The Grange Pavilion Team
