“Hi, I’m Shoruk. I’m a community organiser, architecture graduate, and Director of the Grange Pavilion Youth Forum. My story, like many others, started in the old Bowls Pavilion. Over the years, I’ve been involved in helping create opportunities for young people in Grangetown through projects like the Training Ground Café, mentoring, community action, research, partnership building, and community events. I’ve joined the Grange Pavilion board because Cardiff South is an awesome place, and the people here are even more awesome. The building has achieved phenomenal milestones, and with a 99-year lease and the right attitude, we as a community can continue to support each other for generations to come 😊”
